Knowing your market should dictate the kind of brand strategy that you will use. You must learn their traits and identify their wants and needs so that you can focus strategist your brand to suit your market's need.

It is impossible to be wanted when you are not even needed, right? So how then can you increase your sales when you are selling your brand to somebody who does not need you at all. Your consumer is a multi-faceted individual. You must be able to speak to those facets individually but collectively as well. To understand them, you have to conduct researches and analysis so that you have all the answers to your questions wherewith you can create your brand strategy.

By knowing who your target market is, you become more sure of the steps that you are going to take. Connecting with them will be a lot easier because you know who they are, what they need and what the issues that affect them are. If you are able to address these needs, then you are reach them easier and faster. This should be the first step you should take as you create your brand strategy.
